THE CONSTITUTION OF ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA BISHOPS

PREAMBLE

We, the member of Association of Nigeria Bishops a non for profit and non-political organization do firmly and solemnly resolve to provide for ourselves a constitution and to be governed by the provisions therein contained.

ARTICLE 1 : NAME

The name of the Association IS INCORPORATED TRUSTEES OF Association of Nigeria Bishops

ARTICLE 2: ADDRESS

The Address of the Association shall be:

Holy Ghost Chapel Engugu-Agigdi Njikoka Local Government Area Anambra State

ARTICLE 3: AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives of the association are:

To promote unity, peace and brotherhood among Nigeria Bishops and beyond

To create a veritable fortune for exchange of ideas on matters that affect the welfare and development of churchs in Nigerai

To help promote the welfare of the needy, poor and the helpless

To support government to uphold peace, unity and progress of Nigeria

To build health facility and educational institutions for sound and moral education of Nigerain children

ARTICLE 4: TRUSTEES

The Trustees of Association of Nigeria Bishop for purpose of the Companies and Allied Matters Act No 1 of 1990, Shall be elected at a General Meeting charged with responsibility of selecting the Trustees with 2/3 majority votes of members present.

Such Trustees (hereinafter referred to as, “The Trustees”) shall not be less than seven and more than ten membership

A Trustees may hold office for life but shall cease to hold offices if he.
